Co-operation between the Parish Council, West Lindsey District Council, developers, designers, architects, builders, landowners and residents.

A variety of housing sizes, including semi-detached and terraced housing using designs and materials to blend with existing properties.

The replacement of modern LCC road signposts with traditional wooden signs.

The further clearance of overhead wiring in the village, commencing with the Conservation Area.

Development of traditional farm buildings.

Small-scale commercial and community enterprises which are in keeping with village life.

Development layouts that do not reflect the traditional character of the village.

Building designs which do not blend with the style and scale of existing buildings.

Building on the eight identified open spaces.

The use of materials not reflecting the character of the village; this applies to new buildings and extensions to existing properties.

The use of high wattage exterior lighting on buildings.
