"Our Town" (£298,000)
The Community Council of Lincolnshire?s Ourtown Project harnesses state of the art IT equipment to allow young people to express themselves and come up with creative solutions to community regeneration in their area.
The project involves taking digital photographs of the town and then using the purpose built Ourtown computer software programme to turn the photographs into a 3D virtual reality model of Market Rasen. Young people can then adapt the model to reflect their ideas and show to people and organisations who can help turn their ideas into action on the ground.
The project website is www.ourtown.uk.com
